As the sun crept higher into the sky, a creature walked along a path. Rose didn't know where she was going and she had been traveling so long she didn't know where she had been. She just wanted to find a place to fit in. The rays of sun were warming the cool crisp morning air. The light flooded over the foliage of the forest. With a dark pelt the sun wasn't Rose's best friend, but not an enemy. Her large browns eyes searched for something, but nothing caught her attention. Slowing from her trotting pace to a walk and then a halt, she sat. Rose looked up to see if anything in the trees were worth looking at. Yet nothing again, Rose laid down and rolled around on the dry and dusty path that she had been following since the day before around this time. She had no idea what she was going to eat, where she was, or who was also on the same path she was.

other's speaking ¢¼ wandering ¢¼ speaking ¢¼ thinking The young German shepherd padded into the strikeingly bright sunlight. Her heart pounded as she came came out of her makeshift den. She yawned, showing her massive canines; she stretched her legs before she headed out once again, to search for food and the night's shelter. She then came upon an open field, lush in grass and trees, a caribou's haven. She smirked as she caught sight of a group of some, and one by itself, probably injures by the way it was holding it's leg up. As she neared the site, dog and wolf scent grew stronger and stronger, and Whisper soon worried that she had entered into unwelcomed territory. The though of her last experience with a pack gave her shivers up her spine, it was that cold and evil. But Whisper had a feeling that this pack would be more understanding.... She hoped.

Ever
Ever was back to exploring, she already knew her wonderful barn and pasture like the bottom of her paw. So she felt the itch to go explore elsewhere.. Her black and white paws hit the grass softly as she trotter out of her territory, her plumed tail held high and her crown proud. Why shouldn't she be proud, she was a female and had her own territory, that was an impressive feat! Ever's mind wandered as she continued on her travels, she thought of her pack and how wonderful it could one day grow to be. Of course, her type weren't much for fighting but they would all be healthy and happy and help those who were helpless. A slight smile stretched out over her black muzzle at the thoughts of puppies playing in the wildflowers out in the pasture, none of which would be hers. She was too busy maintaining the pack and making everyone happy to have a mate or even to just have puppies. Sometimes, being a leader stunk. Ev shook her head to get rid of those thoughts from her mind only to focus on a tree that she was about to run into. Jumping, the female looked around her, she was deep in the forest. A small whine almost escaped from her throat but the female choked it back. It's just trees Ev. It's just trees. Ever filled her lungs to their capacity before letting it out slowly, forests, or any closed in area had always scared the female. She didn't know why, nobody did. But they did, and at the moment she felt as if the trees were moving in towards her, closer and closer, making it harder to breathe. Terror flashed through her as she darted in the direction that she hoped and prayed was the way away from the wooden beasts that haunted her. A beam of light seemed to be peeking out from between a few trees and releif flooded the black and white female. Scents of other dogs hit her nares and caused her to reluctantly slow her galloping run down to an easy going trot. Reaching the clearing she noted a white dog and scented the other dog, but didn't see it yet. Lifting her tail to it's dominate position and clearing her mind of the fear that had just struck her, Ever walked a few more paces towards the white dog. There were many greetings that the female could offer the other, some more aggressive then the others but this white dog didn't smell of other dogs, so she wasn't of a pack which made her choice of greeting much simpler. "Hello. I am Ever, Alphess of the South Ridge pack. You are?"

other's speaking ¢¼ wandering ¢¼ speaking ¢¼ thinking Alaska froze, stunned as another voice loomed near her. Her white pelt felt paralyzed, not able to move an inch. Alaska slowly inhaled, then exhaled. Breathing slowly would ease her panic. Wait.... What panic? What was wrong with her?! She was tough, wolf built and powerful. She growled at herself, unlocking her muscles, and lettin her mind return to her real self. She padded forward, her fur bristling and lip curling. When she was in a threatening position, she growled; "What do you want, fae?"

Rose got to her feet and lifted her head. She wanted to see if there was any food or other animals worth looking for. She caught scent of two other feas in the area, so she set out to find them. As she got closer the scents became stronger and then a flash of white and black, and voices low. Rose hid in a bush and studied the two other feas. A oddly colored German Shepherd, and a breed unknown to her. She slowly emerged from the bush and into the vision of the other two canines.
