「 FRINGE 」「 mothers beware, she's a new type of predator 」 Life. Green. Earth. That's all Fringe had been able to think about for the past fifteen minutes. It didnt even don on her that this could have, intact, been pack land that she was so stupidly sneaking into. In her haze to figure out where that buzzing noise was. Oming from Fringe had forgotten to. Check her surroundings. Honestly, she should have seen it or, rather, smelt it with the way the area screamed wolf.
In all her visits to packs, which were very few since the thought of commuting herself to one never crossed her mind to have much thought put into it, she had never seen a "domestic" pack with such flourishing results. Her nose finally caught up to her as the scent hit her like a semi-truck. Wolf. It was a strong scent and, in full honesty, it made Fringe faulted. How could she be so.... oblivious? Foolish? Just plain stupid?!

Genocide had pups to worry about, and was quickly and joyfully working off her excess pregnancy fat, burning it back to muscle. Her recent pregnancy was still incredibly obvious though, regardless of how skinny she ever got, the whole nursing thing left a rather visible sign on her belly-- obviously and namely, that she was producing milk.
Even had she not had pups throttling her territorial instinct into full gear though, the mere sight and smell of a dog would have sent her into a frenzy. They-- she, it seemed-- weren't exactly pissing on the territorial markers, which kept her from going full blown murderous, but it was a near thing and the slightest thing now would tip her off. And that wasn't to say that she wasn't still going to attack. She was, angry as any mother presented with even the slightest threat to her pups would be.
The white wolf launched herself forward, almost frothing at the mouth as she snarled and howled loudly for all the land to here. The snarling beast headed straight towards the female dog, no greeting, no warning except the full blown snarl, although there was a greeting if you could call aiming her mouth at one's behind a kind of greeting. Yup, Genocide was engaging in typical wolf harassment tactics, aiming a bite at the flanks, or, more crudely, her butt.

As cerberus made his round threw the territory he decided tk check on his mate a secret location where only him and genocide knew about. As he went threw the bushes he looked at the cave and ecpected her to come and meet him as always. As he walked closer he went inside to see the pups sleep in a secret chamber. As he laid near the entrance he protected the loves of their life.
As he sat there he heard his mates roar that sent cerberus standing up. What could have been bothering her maybe a bird as he walked down a path that his mate made as to not give scent that would make the pups location easy to find as he looked back at the area any modern animal would walk by but not cerberus or genocide. As he glanced back he took off to where he had heard his mate as he ran threw the trees like a black blur he saw his mates fur going down a hill as he circled a round he saw what she had roared at it was a dog as cerberus went down the hill it looked as if she tried to run she would be cut off either way.

「 FRINGE 」「 mothers beware, she's a new type of predator 」 All Fringe could think about was pain. Her tail tucked tightly between her thighs as she spun around, snapping at the female who had violated her, though her teeth didn't catch any fur. Her ears hugged her head as she sat down, tail still tucked, so she could watch the much larger wolf, but any attack she might be able to fight. She couldn't understand why the wolf had attacked without reason, but when she say her stomach, she instantly knew.
Pups. They were the love of her life and, not be point blank, she couldn't help herself around them. After thinking about it for a moment and spotting the second wolf's arrival, Fringe began to back up a bit to give the female more room, though she wasn't sure whether she would fight back or not. At the moment her mind was clogged by the thought of this female's pups. The mother was attractive, but who was the father? Would they be cute or, well, not so cute? She obviously wasn't thinking straight, because she paid little attention to the wolves' movements. "I don't mean harm! I swear!"

Genocide slowed in her movements as the dog backed away, circling warily but mildly surprised they weren't trying to attack back, and instinctively appeased a bit by the submission. No harm? A dog truly meant no harm? Could such a creature ever be trusted? They were man's warped creations, after all. Man had been disappearing, but that didn't mean they were all gone. "How do I know you aren't with a hunter," like the one who had shot her ex-mate. "come to lead Man to our pack and leave our children parentless?" her lips curled.
Yes, our. She'd spotted Cerberus approaching, and glanced at him without relief. If there was indeed a human about, they were both out in the open and asking to be shot. There had been many dogs of late coming into the territory, despite the clear markers. Her memories told her it was only a matter of time before her attacks on them led to a man with a gun coming after her and her kind. It was strange, how such a cowering and small figure as the one before her now could inspire such terror in Genocide. Perhaps the real reason Genocide hated dogs is because she was afraid of them, the way an abused horse might grow to be scared of black hats because his abusive trainer wore one. It was a kind of fear and hate that probably could never be healed.
Genocide didn't care what reasons mankind had for killing her kind. For sport, for management of the park back when she'd been in Yellowstone, or for revenge for acting like a wild wolf to the things in their territories... none of it made a difference to the families that had been torn apart.

As cerberus watched from a distance he saw tge dog spin around as genocide rushed it. As he made it closer he saw the submissive dog lay there with genocide snapping at it as cerberus looked up he knew some dogs had that master with a weapon that hunted his kind. As he surveyed tge area he some no hunters or heard them. As he looked at them he circled around to the now tensed and highly aggressive mate of his and whispered in her ear" the pups are fine I checked on them".
As he stood by her side he lowered his head and snarled towards the dog laying down in submission. As he walked around he looked for a opening on the dog and with a angered tone spoke towards the dog" what brought you to this land and speak now from which pack your from or pay the penalty for being a bad spy and causeing unwanted trouble". With cerberus remark he lunged at the dogs side and then her flank hopeing to draw a small amount of blood and to hurt it for makeing his mate come this far, as he did his lunge he hopped back and walked towards his mate checking to see if she recived any bites or scratches he didnt want her hurt.

「 FRINGE 」「 mothers beware, she's a new type of predator 」 The female cried out in pain once more as the male's jaws snapped shut around her flank, then pulled back, "I'm in no pack and I have no humans! I didn't realize this was pack territory until now." The female cowered, her tail as tight as ever as she tried to flatten to the ground, so wishing she wasn't here at the moment. She couldn't understand why these wolves were so mean toward her. It made no sense.
"I was just so happy to see all of the life around here. Most dog packs I have visited have little to no plants around. I'm sorry!" The female drew back, trying to find a way out from all the pain. Her blood had begun to clump around her wounds even as more of the warm red liquid drained out. She just wanted it all to end. She really had no tolerance for pain. Fringe hadn't wanted any of this.

Genocide growled, more embarrassed than angry now. Didn't even know it was pack territory? Was this dog serious? What did they have to do? Put up a giant human sign and write on it in human gibberish? Ugh. Maybe they were lying, but, the dog wasn't even trying to put up a fight. This was hardly sporting. She watched Cerberus bite the other female, and sighed. "It is beautiful around here, isn't it?"
Then, eying the dog more calculatingly, with tail raised, she spoke again. Life, they probably had no killer instinct in them at all, did they? Might be useful in its own way, although she couldn't believe she was even thinking of this. Especially after they'd attacked, there was no way the other was going to say yes. But at least there was no way this one would trespass ever again. "How would you like to join a real pack?" she sneered, though more at the thought of calling the other packs 'packs' than anything else.

As Cerberus circled around the female with a mere scratch she spilled out her whole life basically. As he circled around her the dog wasn't from a rival pack or has a human for protection but was good but stupid in her defense. Was this animals nose messed up cause the scent barriers are marked well, maybe she had a death wish.
As he continued to walk around the dog and growl he heard his mate ask the dog to join their pack a dog in the pack. It sounded ridiculous what would this dog know about being wild or hunting on its own. Maybe genocide lost some of her common sense but she never steered him wrong but he didn't totally agree with this dog. As he looked at the submissive dog he had a low angered tone when he spoke to her," Well if my mates thinks it's ok then I will back her up one hundred percent". As he walked towards his mate he rubbed against her and whispered " If she makes one mistake I will be the one to kill her". As he looked at her he showed a little smile and then stood by his mate invade she needed assistance up the hill.

「 FRINGE 」「 mothers beware, she's a new type of predator 」 Now Fringe have been a lot of things, but she was not stupid. This had to be a trick. Just a moment ago she was under attack from two alphas! There was no way she would join just to be eaten by her own kind. The female so desperately wanted to flash her fangs, but she could only manage a glare knowing she was near the alphas and on their territory.
"This is some cruel joke, isn't it?! I will not join to be murdered! I'm only a year old! I have a future ahead of me." Again she got the urge to let a growl escape, but the raw fear that stood in the back of her head kept her tame. They didn't even know her name! She could hunt, she was mostly social, and she had no pack mentality.
Then she was brought back to her senses. Though she may not be of high rank and she probably wouldn't have any wolfy pals, she would get to see the trails. Not to mention the puppies. The oh so sweet and cuddly puppies. Fringe resisted a smile as she glanced back up, "How low would I be, exactly? And wouldn't you like a name for a face before bringing it into the pack?"
She had finally recollected her senses. Yes, maybe pack life wouldn't be so bad. She could easily slip a puppy or two out from under a mother's nose. Though she wanted to earn a rank first. At the least she didn't want to be an omega before the snatchings began.... And she wouldn't even dare snatch an alpha pup..
