「 AVIATOR 」「 someday, I'll be the girl you see in the sky 」 The beach really wasn't anything special, but just laying in the sand, the waves coming up to touch your heated paw, was good enough for the Aussie. This was it. This was the place she had heard about so many times before. Whether just through chit chat of other canines or a conversation with another canine. Almost all of them had told her this was the best place to come and relax. Except for this one really weird male. He game Aviator the creeps. His exact words were, "The best place to go is the tunnels. Deep. Dark. And private." Well, those may have been exaggerated in the female's head, but she still didn't like the idea of going there now.
The dog's nose turned to the sky, her eyes tracing a cloud. She could just image flying up there. It would be beautiful. Her coat and ears would be pulled back against the wind, her coat dampening from the wet of the clouds. She couldn't image anything better. This had to be the place where she came once she knew how to fly. It would be absolutely perfect. All those years of having other canines slash her dreams just in wait for this one moment. It had taken a lot out of her, but then again, doesn't everything?
Then her head whipped around at the awful sound made. She couldn't tell what it was or if it even was an awful sound, but she could tell she wasn't alone.

If I could only find a note to make you understand, I'd sing it softly in your ear and grab you by the hand, Just it stuck inside your head like your favorite tune, And know my heart's a stereo that only plays for you star trek wasn't normally one to be struck by the lonliness of his life, or by how hard his heart beat whenever he was around any female. Sure, he never really knew love, but suddenly he wanted it. he wanted love to be his cushion, to have someone be his comfort, to be his own. Sure he had loved his foster mother, and his mother, but they just didn't exist in his life anymore. he needed another female, one that wasn't his mother or his nurse. but where could he find someone like that. he had found arcadia on this very beach, but she just wasn't his type.
brown and blue merle paw tredged through the sand, sending beads of it flying as he walked. his head was lowered, bent down in misery. he couldn't have spotted the brown and brown merle australian shephard so close by, not in his own pent up misery. not until he lifted his ice blue eyes from the ground, hearing nothing but knowing he wasn't alone. his blue eyes found those of the brown shephard. his eyes smiled and he cocked his head a little. hello ma'am. my name's star trek. sorry if i disturbed you at all. i didn't mean to. what's your name his voice was sturdy and deep, resembling that of a big dog. it wasn't love at first sight, but he definatley was entranced.

「 AVIATOR 」「 someday, I'll be the girl you see in the sky 」 His eyes. They were the color of the sky on a snowy, overcast day. Aviator was attracted to him, almost infatuated by the icy texture of his pupils. The female quickly got to her feet, clearing her thought softly. Though her eyes lingered on the white sand, she did raise them to Star Trek's own so she wasn't rude while talking to them, "Oh. I'm sorry. Um, my name's Aviator."
Her gaze dropped once more, though she couldn't help but to glance back up at him. Her ears were perked halfway, trying not too show too much interest in his eyes, though she really wasn't trying to get rid of it. Her lips warmed with a smile as she took a moment to study him. He resembled Aviator in ways only another Aussie could, though he was quite different. His eyes were that lovely blue, though the female's was just a rusted orange. "I've just heard so much things about this beach... You don't run it, do you? I can leave if you want." She immediately began to gather her wits, waiting for the answer she was hoping for. She really didn't want to leave. She wanted to remain on the beach with the sand sinking in between her toes.

If I could only find a note to make you understand, I'd sing it softly in your ear and grab you by the hand, Just it stuck inside your head like your favorite tune, And know my heart's a stereo that only plays for you Oh. I'm sorry. Um, my name's Aviator
her sweet voice rang in his ears, even prettier then he imagined. it was like the voice of an angel and his eyes flashed brilliantly. don't worry little angel, i mean aviator. theres nothing to apologize for how rough and ugly his voice sounded in comparision to hers, to her angellic voice. he was disgusted with it, no wonder he hadn't found female companianship. how unattractive he was compared to her. in the back of his mind somehwere, his head registered this as a silly thing to think. it also registered how different his reaction was to her when compared to his reaction to arcadia. that was nothing compared to this, this beautiful angel.
I've just heard so much things about this beach... You don't run it, do you? I can leave if you want.
her rusted orange eyes, glowing and wonderful, were locked on his blue ones. he grinned slightly, glad to have attracted the notice of such a beauty. don't worry little angel, i claim no rights to this land. i just wander from place to place, a little tumbleweed in this crazy world. don't leave little angel, don't leave me. he resisted adding the me. he took a step closer to the female, to the angel aviator, his paws almost not feeling the steps he took. the grin on his face widened, his twinkling in the light of the sun. don't leave me little angel, don't leave me. his mind echoed over and over again, repeating inside his head. he cocked his head slightly, praying the angel wouldn't leave him.

「 AVIATOR 」「 someday, I'll be the girl you see in the sky 」 His voice was slightly rough, but in an odd way it seemed to sooth Aviator. She would gladly fall asleep at his feet, fully trusting this male she's only just met. She smiled softly, her ears perking forward ever so slightly, "Star Trek. Do you go by any other names? Like Trek? Or do you prefer to remain just Star Trek..?" She tilted her head to the left, allowing the male to move into her space as she watched him, drawn to him like a queen to her king.
The female's eyes stared into the sand, her head downturned. She couldn't help but to enjoy the pet names he gave her, though she wasn't exactly ready to throw him a few of his own. 'Take it slow, Aviator. The last thing you need is to give him what he wants just to have him run off.'
Aviator's cheeks grew hot. Now that she thought of it, she'd never had a suitor to please. Apparently she was extremely out of practice. Not to mention her lack of experience. "Don't worry little angel, I claim no rights to this land. I just wander from place to place, a little tumbleweed in this crazy world. Don't leave little angel, don't leave."
Star Trek's words reminded her of a confession, in ways unheard. It sounded truthful, out of the blue. Maybe she wouldn't leave. For a long while. "Have you ever had a dream so big it was your only reason to live, Star Trek?" she paused, taking a moment to reflect over her own words. They paled in comparrison to Star Trek's. She could feel a slight pain of lust, though she wasn't sure if it was for Star Trek or for the meaning of his words to be true. She wanted to be an angel. She needed it.
"I have, I mean I do. I wish to fly, Star Trek. It's been my life's meaning. Up until now."

Do you go by any other names? Like Trek? Or do you prefer to remain just Star Trek..?
star trek grasped every word, every sound as though it would be the last he'd hear from such a beautiful maw. his eyes twinkled. little angel, call me what you will. most just call me star trek. mother used to see it was because she saw me having some sort of great future, trekking trough the stars and getting all the way to the top. course, mother will never see me reach such great lengths. he closed his eyes right as the agony of loosing his mother hit him again. his face twisted into a mask of pain, contorted his beauty as though it was hardly there. he had been desperate, so desperate to live. he would have done anything, including feeding from his mothers own flesh. the guilty was well known to him as it came and he looked away from aviator.
Have you ever had a dream so big it was your only reason to live, Star Trek? he shook his head, the only notion for her to move on. I have, I mean I do. I wish to fly, Star Trek. It's been my life's meaning. Up until now.
he finally brought his eyes to look into hers, his face loosing the pained look it held only seconds ago. her orange eyes glowed with the power of her dream, she shone like her own little star. he smiled softly, his heart thudding dully in his chest. what changed little angel? what changed such a beautiful dream? spread your wings little angel, you have a pair don't you? every angel has her own pair of wings. his muttering was slightly crazed, but the truth of his words shone in his eyes. she was such a beautiful angel, how could such a graceful angel not have wings? her would be extraordinary, he thought, beautiful beyond compare. and with that miniscule little thought, he smiled at her. his own little angel sent to him, her name was aviator and she stood right in front of him.
ooc. sorry it took so long. last week was wayyyy too hectic to get this done.

「 AVIATOR 」「 someday, I'll be the girl you see in the sky 」 A laugh erupted from her lungs. "I can't even fly! I don't deserve the wings." she thought to herself, turning her chin down to the sand, "Tell me, Trek. Would an angel leave her own mother for dead? I wished it upon her and left before I could find out!" She paused, taking a moment to allow herself to breath. She collapsed in the sand, her head on her paws as she lied there.
"I may have wings, but they sure as hell don't fly." and with that she fell silent. Listening just in case Trek had something to say. She could already tell he was painting this heavenly image of her. Even her nickname "little angel" made her feel unworthy.
Aviator was certain she would make no plans to alter her behavior. She was too stubborn to even mention the idea. But at that moment her dream to fly almost seemed as of it were a million miles away. Even wings couldn't fix that.

Would an angel leave her own mother for dead? I wished it upon her and left before I could find out!
her laughter was humorless as it rang in his ears, and he'd be stupid to pretend like he didn't see the pain in her eyes as she collapsed to the ground. he didn't resist the urge to run over and wrap his body around hers. he wanted to keep his gaurdian angel safe, comfortable and warm. his head touched hers, his heart becoming a soft pitter patter, much like hummingbird's wings. angel, beautiful angel. do not fret about your mothers fate, do not fret about what you did. i ate my own mothers flesh in order to keep myself alive. if anyone should feel like they ruined their mother's life, it is me. so selfish to be cannibalistic just so i can survive. his breath came out harsh and ragged, even as his voice was gentle. the memories tormented him, they always would.
I may have wings, but they sure as hell don't fly
his own laughter rippled in his chest, soft and deep. his eyes went to her as he got up. his little angel looked as though she truly beleived she would never fly. this sent a determination ringing throughout his figure. he would do everything in his power to make sure that his angel would fly in her life time. perhaps, aviator, your wings cannot fly yet. perhaps they never will. as you say, dogs are not meant to fly. but perhaps we might find a way to fly without the aid of your wings. like the humans did with their airplanes. whatever the way is, i will do my very best to help you find it. his voice was deep and honest, his eyes voicing the truth of his words once more. his got up off the ground and looked at her.

「 AVIATOR 」「 someday, I'll be the girl you see in the sky 」 He ate his mother? Well, that was certainly a blow to the head, though it wasn't enough to deter her. He specifically said he'd eaten her, not killed her. That was a bright spot. But the female did wonder what kind of conditions would cause a dog to do such an unsanitary thing. Especially a young puppy.
The thought, strangely, intrigued her. She wanted to know more, but Aviator could feel the pain he was going through. Suddenly, she had no reason to hang herself upon wishing her mother's death.
Slowly, but surely the female removed her head from under his, positioning herself so her head was on the back of his shoulder blades, her chest pressed against his chest and her neck pressed against his. She had never been great at comforting others, but she could sense it was more than neccisary this time. She could tell he had been extremely guilty for a while.
"Trek," she pulled her body away from his so she was in front of him once more, lifting his muzzle with her own, "look at me please." her voice was soft, safe. She wanted him to know she was not judging him in the slightest bit. She could sense he was special. And she could also sense she was going to be in his life for a while. "It was unfair. For you to have to go through such an awful thing. But, if you had died back there, I wouldn't be here with you now. I wouldn't be your little angel with the broken wings."
Then he changed. His laugh rippled through the air, strong as if it were with holding power. Aviator suddenly felt very small. As if he were the lion and she were the mouse. She gave him some more room, backing up. The move was probably for her own sanity, though. Trek made her ache in places she didn't know she could ache in. She could tell he was a safehouse.
Drawn back to reality, Aviator caught his words about making her fly. Like it was more for him than for her. She'd heard of airplanes before, but she was almost certain he was missing something, "Youre forgetting one little thing, love. A human."

it was his angel, holding him close in a way only a dog could. his own gaurdian angel comforting him with her gentle words, her gentle voice ringing in his ears. he pressed his nose to hers. little angel, lovely beautiful gaurdian angel. i've learned to get over it. i am with you. i did survive. i just need to learn to appreciate these small little details. your beautiful orange eyes, your silky brown coat, and the feeling i get when i look at you. his voice was soft, almost a whisper in her ears. he took his nose away from hers and his breathing was soft. his eyes were very gentle, very soft, and very tender as he regarded this angel. love at first sight could be so cold and cruel, even as it warmed your insides. yes, he loved his angel. he loved aviator. he loved her in a way that he was afraid to express.
Youre forgetting one little thing, love. A human
there was a sudden distance between them, his own body rising and hers backing away. little angel, what use do we have for a human? is this relationship not enough to send your heart beating, is this love not enough to set your heart soaring everytime we meet. like mine does? aviator, angelic little aviator. i will help you fly physically. i will find a way. for now, is our love enough for you? his words were so tender. and the look in his eyes declared his love for her, declared it so much more than any words ever could. his head was raised, he stood there like a god, proud and strong. but aphrodite and cupid themselves could not have seen the tender adoration in his eyes as he regarded aviators godess like figure.
{ ooc } oh shit, stars not much better it seems. and tell him, reminds me of them.

「 AVIATOR 」「 someday, I'll be the girl you see in the sky 」 His words made her physically melt. Was their love front enough to make her fly? Could she even call it love? Aviator's ears rang loud with questions. Wasn't love something that doesnt happen on the spot? Surely you could tell if someone was special, but would you love them? She shook her head, "I wish. But what is the definition of love? It's an emotion. We change, surely our emotions change as well."
She almost felt like she was crushing Trek's dream of being able to share love with her, but she was unsure if she felt the same way Trek did at this moment. Did she love him? She knew she had already grown attached to him, but she wasn't sure if that was enough. "Maybe our love should be enough, Trek. But whether it really is or not is not up to me. At least not consciously."
