Light paws carried the female down Dane Avenue her cracked pads gliding against the asphalts rough surface. The sun's rays were almost blinding to her for she had just lifted herself from a deep slumber. She turned the corner around one of the old buildings and instantly it seemed she was soaking wet. This was caused by a speeding truck flying down the road, and hitting a puddle of debri ridden liquid. She gave a huff and shook out her pelt, releasing all the unwanted debris. Water spraying in every direction like a sprinkler. Boston soon continued on her way. She didn't have any particular place she wanted to go, or anywhere she needed to be. She just needed to get out of the alley way.
Boston picked up her pace a bit, Her over grown claws clicking against the asphalt with every step she made. Thoughts of her past began invading her thoughts, And soon after she came to a road, that she had to cross. Then came the flashback. Suddenly she heard a crash, and an ear churning scream. Her mother had just been hit and killed. Boston had stopped in her tracks deep in thought, She was on the side of the road and once she realized where she was she continued on trying to shake the thought out of her mind. Ahe gave her head a violent shake back and fourth, and let out deep sigh.
Would she ever forget the sight of her mother's death?
Maybe? Maybe not.?
The answer was a mystery to her for now.
About a half hour had passed before the thought finally escaped her mind. She had come to a park. A beautiful park at that. Boston had been a stray all her life around this area and had never come across these parts. Maybe they were ruled by a pack? There was only one way to find out. She decided to take her chances and entered the park. Not much intimidated the mutt, for she had been in many fights and scraps over the years, visible scars on her chest and muzzle revealed themselves clearly. She glanced around, no sign of any other canines..
