Zoey's ebony body moved easily through the swamp. her paws sank into the soft ground, leaving perfect impressions behind in the mud. her coat was dirty and mud caked parts of her fur, but that was not bad.
her dark eyes scanned around. other dogs had moved through here recently but she couldn't tell how long ago really. her twin harks were pricked up right, acoustics cupping the familiar noise of the swamp. crickets hummed, and birds chirped.
her tail waved behind her as she moved carefully. the water was only about waist high but she didn't know what lurked in there so she wasn't so keen on stepping in there just yet. her lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out as she panted a bit. the swamp was sticky and hot and humidity was at its all time high here. even though it was spring, the swamp still retained summer like weather. she had no idea why she decided to come through here and she began regretting it deeply.
she found an old thick branch and hopped up onto it, letting her rump tuck beneath her. her forelegs kept her upper body erect. she sat there, just observing the environment around her

stevie rae You're crazy if you think just half your love could ever please mestevie rae wasnt full of herself, or even worried about her looks. That swamp wasnt very inviting to her, even though she had been through here before. Each time she had to ease herself into the swamp, and ignore the squishing beneath her paws. She took a single step forward and cringed. Then she kicked off with her hind legs, her fore legs ending up in the water. She scrambled out with her red eyes wide. Stories told ofa giant croc in these waters, and she had to intent to find out just how big. Stevie rae looked around, red eyes peering into the fog that had built up due the the humidity. Her tongue lolled out of heer mouth and panted, ignoring the fumes in the air. If her mama hadnt told her that cussing was bad, shed have been letting out along stream of them right then.
Stevie rae continued to walk around the swamp, praying that the fog wouldnt thicken. If it did, she wouldnt be able to see anything. The very thought of it, of landing in that water, made her shiver. She continued with her wanderings. Then she spotted the black mass in the fog, the vast blackness of zoey. Stevie rae crept forward, moving inch by inch. Then she saw Zoey, a friendly looking dog. hey there. Mine name is Stevie Rae. Whats yers? the red dog burst into a friendly smile. Which lightened her features and overall made her seem approachable. Not that she would so much as harm a bug with out good cost. It just wasnt right to hurt another creature, even one with a dark soul. Or midnight black fur and dark eyeslike the dog in front of her.
Ooc. Bullpoopie and Ah hell! XD
