the warm spring sun reminded her of home, of where she was born. Of the sun on her back that reminded her of hunting with her mentor. It made her smile. Already amber fur burned strong and it looked like fire to touch. She loved running through any forest, launching herself into the air and landing sturdily on her paws. Just like when she was hunting, minus the seriousness of hunger pains. Hunting was still her natural drug, her own bottled up form of ecstacy. It felt so nice, but then it was always nice to feel overjoyed every now and again. Her maroon colored eyes bcame a pretty red when the sunlight hit them. Her mama had always told her that she was as pretty as a wild flower and sweet as a georgia peach. Her mama... the very thought of it could stop her in her tracks. mama, i miss ya so much.. her okie little twang invaded her thoughts to.
mama, remember that story ya always told me about the poor lil pup who was lost an' couldn't find her mama. It feels like that sometimes. I know i should move on, 'cause what grown dog still misses her mama. Love ya mama. stevie rae had paused in her tracks and after these thoughts, she began moving again. Her steps were slower and less boyant, her head lower to the ground than ever. She smiled as her mama's voice rang in her head, scolding stevie rae for being silly. Of course she smiled, lighting up her amber features. She waved her tail and lifted her head. Shed be okay. Her mama wouldnt like her greiving like this. A leaf from a tree, new and young, fell to her head. She lept into the air and twisted, knocking it off her head and catching it iin her jaws. Eyes gleamed joyously.
