Hello hello lovely roleplayers! My name is Irony, and I'm a girly Canadian stay-at-home dog mom, with a lovely boyfriend who spoils me rotten. I've been roleplaying for well over 8 years now, but I love challenging myself and trying to improve through experience and dedication. I don't often roleplay animals, but I thought I'd give it a shot... and dogs were the obvious choice for me! (Because nobody rolepays reptiles, amirite?)
Why dogs? Because I have dogs! :-D And who doesn't love showing off their pets?
I have my pride and joy Czech/DDR W/L german shepherd male: Audi vom Waechterberg. He's 11 months old and doing very well with his Schutzhund/PPD. He's the second dog I've ever owned, and the first one I've ever tried to train for a sport.
We just got back from a seminar over the weekend with Felix Sunga, which was really awesome! Lots of focus on French Ring (which I knew nothing about), and lots of advanced trainers there with accomplished dogs. It was fun and we learned a lot. Audi even gave someone his first bruise through a sleeve! What a man!
I also have one another dog of my own, another German Shepherd, Ritter (mainly American Show Lines). She's 2.5 years old, and a lovely pet. She's very athletic, but her temperament and her health (she has EPI) keep me from trying to compete her in anything. She's a doll, though.
My boyfriend also has two dogs. The 6 yeard old Cairn Terrier in the photo above (he was shaved for 2 years, instead of stripped, which has ruined his coat). Scout is a tenacious little bugger and our resident ratter. We live out in the country, so his abilities are very much appreciated.
We also have our rescue dog Phoebe, a 15 year old maltese-mix. She belonged to my boyfriend's daughters before they moved and could no longer take care of her. So she's living the remainder of her life out with us. A total cuddle bug.
I also have a lovely collection of ball pythons, with one more male on the way. I have two lesser platinum females, two spider females, a pastel female, a pastel male, and a pinstripe female.
We also have a large community vivarium which is home to breeding green anoles, brown anoles, long-tailed grass lizards, green tree frogs, a hermit crab, and a golden malayasian gecko. The tank is 4 feet long, 1.5 feet white, and 3 feet tall, and set up with live plants and an automatic 'monsoon' machine. Really cool to watch all the little buggers interact.
And lastly, my beautiful baby girl, "Little Girl" the B/W Argentine Tegu. She's three years old now but severely undersized. We had trouble keeping the humidity up in her tank over her first winter, and she stopped eating because of it, so she's much smaller than a 3-year old should be. Never-the-less, she's a lovely affectionate girl, and still pretty impressive to show off.
