The wolf walked, head lowered to the ground. His ears pivoted with each step, trying to pinpoint something. His body was riddled with scars, most from his abused past, others from hunting. He had a slight limp as he walked, his front left paw damaged from a failed escape as a young yearling. Shaking out his coat, he raised his head, metallic golden eyes staring blankly.
Tail swayed lazily behind him as he looked around, trying to figure out where he was exactly. The area smelled of wolf. And more then one. Good. He had a thing about dogs... at least those farthest from the wolf. He had encountered few, but those encounters were nothing but hell for him. They were the reason for his scars. They were the reason for him being so screwed up.
Romania wondered if he should join this pack..if it was willing to take him. Or just leave and find another. He howled anyways. Pacing back and forth he waited for a response. If he got nothing he'd pick up something to eat and look for another place to go.

As Cerberus patrolled his territory he was moving at a steady pace when the howl caught his attention. As he move threw the land with ease knowing ever inch of his territory. He moved on to see a small wolf that was pacing back and forth. As he stalked toward the lone wolf he he stopped a couple of feet away sizing him up seeing that Cerberus was bigger he had no problem if a fight broke out.
As he leaned his head down and pulled his lips back to show his massive teeth," As to who may you be wandering threw my territory. Because if your looking for a fight than you just happened to find one, if not state your business here so I may decide the fate that will fall over you". As he raised his head back up he started to walk around the wolf seeing if he was from another pack or lone and searching for one.

Romania's frame tensed up at the sound of a male's voice. His ear's re-positioned closer to his skull as his eye's traced toward the other. The brute was larger then him, sure, but Rome was sure he could at least escape from this wraith if he had too. Yeah Rome could fight, but he choice not too...or in truth he's been trained not too...
Not only did he have physical scars he had mental scarring to boot. His life would never be normal. Hos eyes flickered nervously for a moment, before they cast a daring stare at the other. He wasn't challenging the male, but he wasn't going to let him think he could be over powered easily. A fight? No. I am known as Romania. I hope you do not treat all wolves like this. If so i think ill find another pack to join.. He eyed the male, judging him.

As he stayed position to strike if need be he saw that the wolf was very submissive. As he began to calm down he listened to the wolf say he might join another pack if Cerberus wasn't in search of new members he might have lashed out at the wolf. As he walked down the hill he eyed the submissive male," Well your right I shouldn't speak to new members like this. But I'm am the alpha and I must protect what is mine no matter what but if you join my pack than your are good enough to stay".
He spoke with a little of anger but it soothed out he felt good about his pack growing bigger cause than he could launch an attack on the most hated pack by wolves. He could imagine the blood of dogs pouring from his mouth but snapped back to reality. As he walked off the hill he started to circle the male to see what he might do.

Rome nodded, his tail swaying behind him in a lazy manner still. His eye's meet the males then quicky fluttered to the ground, his body shaking ever so slightly. I think ill stay then. But you have nothing i would desire. he looked up at the male again, uninterest painted on his face. He male had a pack. Rome wasn't interested in ruling a group of wolves. No. He wouldn't even try.
He waited a few moments before speaking again, his frame raising a bit, more confident the male won't try anything funny. This pack...What is it called? And what of the rules and ranks... He asked. He joined a pack without the slightest knowledge other then it being a pack full of wolves.

Genocide came in, her stalk akin to a mountain panther's in quietness and grace, but also in power, tail held high. She noticed her mate had, yet again, seemed to have almost picked a fight. She really needed to have a talk with him about that. They couldn't afford to chase off other wolves right now; especially ones that showed the proper ritual submissiveness. And politeness. He had howled. What dogs did that now a days? And for that matter, too few wolves did it too. "I'll answer that. My name is Genocide. This is the Northern Ridge Pack; and no, I did not give it that terribly uninspired name." she drawled that last bit, having a poor opinion of the previous leaders.
"We are a traditional pack, with the old, honored ranks of beta, alpha, hunter, warrior, omega, and healer. Each of the ranks, except omega, require some degree of skill. We value dominance, but also by that virtue, submission. Our hierarchy is strict, with those above you to be obeyed at all times unless issuing a challenge, and with the higher ranking getting first choice at meals. Mating and raising pups is also a privilege, one that must be earned. Betas and alphas hold that right automatically, but, especially when food is plenty, others may be granted that right as well." Very traditional indeed. Most dogs, the filthy creatures, would mate with anything and anyone given the chance. Although, that was just Genocide's very biased opinion.

As he spoke with the male in a calm manner he could see the wolf being a brother he never had. As his ear twitched to his mates sweet voice he listened to her give the description of the pack ranks Cerberus knew he was out of line but it's something about male that really just didn't sit right with for some reason.
As he walked towards his mate he rubbed his head across her and than looked at the male," Well I'm happy to say whatever your decision is I would be happy it you stayed but come let's find something for you to eat". With that he began to walk back beside his mate and had a seat he wanted the wolf to stay and he wanted to make sure he was healthy.

Romania listened to the femme. He even relaxed a bit more then he would have with that male around. Female's hadn't done him harm in the past. They were the only ones he could even try to trust. He repeated the name under his breath before standing just a little bit off the ground to address the female. Genocide was it? I..I would like to join your pack. he spoke not looking the female in the eyes. Though i refuse to fight others without good reason too...and i know nothing of plants. he told the truth. What use would he be if he lied? What would his punishment be most importantly.

Genocide approved of his submissive manner. "That is alright, we don't eat plants, and I will happily show you which ones to stay away from like poison ivy. I accept you as a subordinate." Finally, a joiner to their small group. She could rest in peace, knowing her pups would be safe.
Won't fight without a good reason? Well, that was acceptable to her. "I assume that you believe defending the pack is a good reason, of course? We will be having pups soon." she nudged Cerberus affectionately, an unusual act for her, wondering if he even realized she was pregnant. It wasn't really showing yet at all. Yet still, she was overyjoyed to know the pack was growing, and that it would not fall any time soon to stray loners trying to kill them. Together, the wolves would be safe from the last vestiges of mankind. She only worried now about the growing packs.

Romania nodded. Pups. Great. He sighed, tail flicking to the side. If it is for the alpha's pups id lay down my life without question.. he looked down, knowing he'd think about it while putting his life down. He wasn't fond of the alphas, he didn't know them, trust them...but pups? He couldn't let such innocent creatures be destroyed. Such a thing would be unforgivable in the male's eyes. He may not like to fight, but he won't hesitate to rip another's throat out.
Rome looked at the male, ear's rotating in his direction. His eyes feel on the other's face, shoulders and finally his back. Lowering his head, he glanced once toward Cer's eyes, before shifting his glaze back to the ground. He didn't know about the male, he didn't like him one bit. And Romania would surely express it one day, but not any time soon. He had grown to hate males, yet..was..slightly...attracted to them despite himself. Genocide, if i may. I know of some of the old ways... I..I could become a hunter, bring you food if you can't hunt... would that be okay? Would he even have the guts to go near their den...if she wasn't there? What would Romania do if it was just Cer there....
Romania knew exactly what he'd do. Leave the kill and run. Run far away. He'd avoid any reason to be alone with any male...no matter what he had to do, to do so.

Genocide brightened. This male was so submissive, so uncertain, yet she could see he was trying and willing to put in an effort. A hunter? Their pack could really use a good hunter for the pups. It helped that puppies were her one and only soft spot in the world. "Of course. I will be out of the running for awhile with my pregnancy--" that would tip Pit off if he didn't already know, she internally chuckled "And another hunter would make things much better. It was considerate of you to think of that."
It was true that in most wolf packs, a lot of the pack mates waited for the better and stronger hunters to make the kill for them. Most of the time, it was the alphas doing the dangerous dirty work of making large kills. To know the pack's food wouldn't be halved while she was down and the pack in need of more food than ever was... comforting. Genocide hadn't thought anything would comfort her again except dogs dying, after her ex-mate's death, but it seemed she was wrong.
