the night sky was spread out before him, the stars twinkling in the cloak of night. It was a warm and beautiful night and it strengthened him. Star trek was named such because before he was born she saw his spirit trek through the stars and into the pup she birthed. But somehow that didnt matter to him. He was a vile creature, one that deserved to die. What other sort of creature ate their dead mother for the selfish reason of survival. He knew no other dogs that would do that. His foster mother had always told him that he was no to be blamed for his survival measures as a pup. Back then it soothed his soul because he didnt know any better. Now he did. And now it haunted every step he took. It even haunted his sleep and his very own dreaming world. It affected his sleep and he slept restlessly. He sometimes spent an entire night just trying to fall asleep.
Rarely, though it happened, he would try to sleep into the day. Most of the time it worked. And he would dream of loving a female, whose face and coat always changed. Tonight he had gotten a different dream, hed seen a night sky identical to the one he saw now. He remembered green eyes, brilliant green eyes. But that was it. Star Trek never thought he had time for love, but he knew his dreams were sent to tell him that it was time. He accepted the semi prophetic dream. And so he was here. He would stay up until the sky turned gray again. He would search for the green eyed female from his dreams. He would walk the banks of the beach until his paws were too sore to walk. Then he would sit and wait for the female to come to him. It seemed ridiculous. But for star trek, a purebred australian shepherd, no dream had ever been bordinary. It either was a memory or a part of his future. Like deja vu.
Ooc. His dreams really are just deja vu. Nothing magic
