Aqrab walked slowly around the park. She glared at anyone she came across, snapping angrily at the ones who came too close. She did not enjoy company. She never had had it. She had survived without it, so why should she want it? She didn't need it. She frowned in disgust at a pair of mates that passed. Why would anyone actually seek company? It made her sick... She dragged herself over to the shade of a nearby tree. She liked the feel of the grass between her toes. Cool, like her heart. Ugh, a bird was chirping on that bush. She stalked up to it slowly, and SNAP!!! Missed. Watching it fly away, she grew angry. Why did that bird deserve the glory, the joy of flight? It was just a stupid little bird. She went back to the tree and lied down. She wanted wings. Then she could fly away from here, to a remote island where there was no one to bug her. Just her on a peacefully deserted island, out of reach of company... Resting her head on her paws, she drifted in to a happy, lonely dream...

Blackjack
A light brown Doberman pinscher padded a long. His face hid any trace of worry that the male dog had. He nodded to a passing couple, not caring what they thought of the loner. His powerful legs carried him over toward the small part of the park that had trees. It had been a long time since Blackjack had come to such a social place. Lately he had been just wandering in places that were dark and empty. He even had a run in with some questionable and shady canines. He was gambler though, so wondering into those places and risking his life was part of his personality.
A swift motion caught his eye and he turned his attention toward it. A female wolf was snapping at some birds. She clearly looked very annoyed and in a foul mood. Blackjack sat down for a moment to think. Maybe she was annoyed because she couldn’t catch a bird, or maybe it was some other reason. Gambling on the possibility he might get his throat ripped out, Blackjack walked over to the she-wolf. She was now lying down and he knew with an angry wolf, you didn’t get to close to them especially if they were sleeping. “Hey, do you need any help catching a meal?” He asked from about a couple yards away from her.

Aqrab woke with a start. 'Who? Ugh, why did you wake me up?! I was having a nice dream. Now leave me in peace so I can go back to it.' she growled in to the dog's face. Ugh. She hated other... other... others. She didn't want to be disturbed. Didn't it know not to wake someone who is sleeping peacefully? She lied back down and attempted to fall asleep again. But the dog wouldn't go away. Dumb dog. Ugh. She sassily opened one eye and glared daggers. 'What do you want? Go away! Shoo!' She tried again to fall asleep. Nope. Annoyed, she got up, snapped at the dog, and walked over to another tree. There, she lied down and pretended to fall asleep. Eyes closed, she watched for the dog's shadow through her eyelids. If it came back and bugged her... *note ooc: Aqrab is actually sweet, she just has had a bad past. But if one is persistant, he may be able to break through her shell.

Blackjack
Blackjack jumped back as the wolf snapped at him, but it still didn’t faze him. His reaction was a normal one because he had, in fact, been a dog in the dogfights and he was pretty good or else he wouldn’t be here at this moment. The brown male chuckled lightly as she stalked away and snapped at him to go away. Blackjack was now pressing his luck again. He walked over and around the tree poking his head out from behind it. He really shouldn’t bother a sleeping angry wolf, but he couldn’t just help himself.
“Having a bad day?” He asked walking around, but not getting to close to her again. He was on guard, but his body didn’t look like it. It was an old trick he learned in the fights. Act like your all relaxed, but reality he was on guard. Blackjack breathed out making his breath foggy in the cool air. He really was just trying to cheer up the she-wolf. He hated scowling faces.

Aqrab scowled, seeing the annoying dog's shadow pass over the sunlight coming in through her eyelids. Pretending to be stuck in an intense dream, she rolled over to where she smelled the lousy thing and kicked it in the chest. 'Served him right, the persistent bug.' she thought, satisfied. Then she rolled back and pretended to wake up. Yawning convincingly, she sat up and smiled sweetly, acting as if she didn't know why the dumb dog was wincing painfully. 'Ha. Weakling.' she observed smugly. She yawned more forcedly this time and pointedly rolled her eyes at the thing. Flouncing away, she tauntingly waved her tail in front of the little mosquito's face, daring him to bite. Walking past him, she shouldered him to the side roughly and padded towards the pond for a drink. She took a nice, long, refreshingly slurp and licked her lips. Bowing her head to get more, she looked around out of the corners of her eyes. If that guy followed her again, she would definitely beat him down and tear him apart. He didn't look that strong anyways. (ooc:wanna fight? to test her strength against blackjack and all his experience? ;D)

Blackjack
Blackjack jumped back as she kicked her foot out, but it connected with is chest. Luckily because he had jumped back, it hadn’t hurt as much. He held back a chuckle as he thought about how the she-wolf was acting. This was quite an interesting wolf and Blackjack just had to keep pushing his luck. “It’s no problem,” He said looking like he was oblivious to the she-wolves really intentions. Then, as she walked by him, the she-wolf shouldered and taunted Blackjack, but he kept his oblivious poker face up. “Oh, no I’m a pacifist.” He said declining the open invitation to a fight. He really didn’t like fighting unless it was needed. He still took one step toward the wolf, almost like passing into a danger zone. His muscles were tense, ready to dodge her attack. “By the way, why are to agitated?” He asked in a naïve and innocent tone. His poker face was still up.
Other: He doesn’t like fighting, but she could take a few lunges at him and he could dodge them I guess
