I am completely deaf in my right ear but only partially deaf in my left. It sometimes seems like I'm ignoring you but odds are I just didn't hear you say anything, so please don't take it personally.
I'm a bit self conscious about my hearing problems, and don't typically announce the fact that I have a hard time hearing others. More often than not I'm considered to be rude and disrespectful as people think I tend to 'ignore' them a lot. However, when you realize I seriously just didn't hear you its easy to look past your first impression of me to find I'm an extremely friendly and well mannered dog.
I love being in the company of others and doing my best to make others proud of me, even if I don't always do things right and misinterpret instructions constantly. All in all I believe I have a heart of gold.
