» personality :: a gentleman, galen surely knows his manners. yes maam and no sirs are not foreign to him by any means, and he will hold the door for any lady. he's quiet, but not laid back or shy. if you strike up a conversation, he'll surely talk back, without any hesitance at all. he can be very animated when talking about something he cares about, and though it's a challenge to sway him to your side to be dedicated and passionate about something, when he's on your side he's not simply loyal, he's a martyr. when he does talk to others, he tends to tease a lot, and some don't get his sense of humor, and turn away. you have to have a sense of humor to get this man. though he is a man now, he has a certain boyish playfulness about him that he will likely never lose. though always polite, the mischievous twinkle in his eye is never absent.

rough and tumble, he's always up for doing something stupid. though an honest upstanding citizen, he certainly has his moments, and as you get to know him he will surprise you more than once. he loves brawls, and is very good at manipulating people and getting the reaction he wants, making situations like putty in his hands. he has his opinions, though not outspoken about them, if you ask he'll tell you. he generally keeps things to himself about himself, unless you ask, because he has this built in fear of becoming self possessed like his family can be. he is indeed a people pleaser, and if someone isn't happy with him it does normally stress him out until he can fix the problem. he's learning to let go, but it's never easy. he has an easy confidence about him, knowing he can take care of himself and those he loves. always humble to a fault, he can sometimes appear cocky when teasing someone.

a trickster, he enjoys silently challenging people. this annoys most, and most walk away instead of rising to the challenge. this is something he vows never to do, he's always ready to rise to a new challenge. he will tolerate, but feel sorry for, the dumb. or what he considers dumb. but he most enjoys being around intelligent people, with quick wit that can keep up and won't get lost. after all, if you have to stop and explain it, it ruins the fun, besides the fact you lose your momentum. extremely sensitive for a man, it's something he finds frustrating and embarrassing, but unknowingly to him it endears him to others. he can always hide his feelings, but that doesn't mean you didn't hurt them. he also has a rash temper, and speaking out brutally against one he loves or something he loves can easily envoke it. he gets rather violent, and finds it hard to control himself, a huge downfall on his part.
