HI I'M MALICE AND THIS IS ME:
Malice used to have normal life... A happy life... A life that 'Toy Soldier' took away from him.
Malice was a wolf-dog. He was mostly wolf, way over most legal limits to be anyone's pet. He roamed the streets of Genesis, the city he was born in. He remember being a puppy, being in a box with his brother and sister. Their father was a wolf, their mother was a wolf-dog. When they were old enough to see and walk and run on their own, they tried to escape from the box with the big painted letters reading "For Sale". Malice became a stray, living out on the streets and fending for himself. He believed that he would live alone all his life, fending for himself and no one else, and in return no one would fend for him.
Malice lost his right eye, which impairs his vision slightly. He lost it in a fight with his brother, who ran off after tearing it out. It doesn't affect what he sees, but how he sees. It takes him a few seconds longer to switch from looking at a near thing to a far thing, and vice versa. When looking at something close up, things far away are blurry, and vice versa (again). The eye adjusts when someone changes what ground they're looking at. With only one eye, it takes a little longer to do so. It isn't a big difference, and Malice has learned to cope with it, but the line of focus is smaller and he views it as a weakness and is somewhat ashamed of it.
One day, the wolf-dog was exploring more of the city, when he stepped on a weak piece of concrete and his foot got stuck in a crevice. He struggled as much as he could, howling loudly in hopes that someone would hear him, but no other canine came to his rescue.
After about a day of thinking he would starve to death or perish by means of something like a storm striking him with lightning. However, a human woman found him. She was a vet, a kind of human cared for animals. She was cautious to approach him, and even left to retrieve some sort of a muzzle that she had managed to get around him, but after that she worked on getting his foot out of the crack. He was still scared, since he had never met a human before (he didn't see them because he was stuck in the box), but he made sure not to appear threatening to this one.
Malice was taken home by the human, who bandaged his injured leg and took care of him until it healed. She fed him, let him sleep near the fireplace, took care of his injured eye and cleaned it up, and after a few months, he became her pet. He promised to himself to take good care of his human, Rita.
After about a year, Rita had to leave on a business trip. Malice stayed inside the house, where she had left out plenty of food and water and had a house-sitter visit every day. Malice didn't notice for a couple days when the house-sitter stopped showing up. Sensing that something was wrong, and able to smell death in the air, he managed to find an exit in the house he could fit through, and he escaped outside to investigate. When he got outside, he discovered that all the humans were gone, and he wasn't sure why. What about his human? Was Rita dead as well?
Malice ventured around the city for a few days, searching for Rita. When he discovered that the dogs had taken over the city and that they had formed Packs, he decided to join one. Northern Edge seemed like a good choice, since he was a wolf-dog and they seemed pretty neutral. He decided to join, hoping to be of some use to what would hopefully be like a family. He waits every day for Rita to return, hoping that she would come back for him. However, since he joined the Pack, he's focused all his time and energy on helping them. He feels inferior to them since they are wolves of the wild and he is part dog and a pet, but he tries his best to make up for it.
