Lacey awoke to hearing more than four little paws traveling up and down the stairs, she looked around. Image was gone. Her heart beat fast, was he falling down the stairs again? She licked her pups quickly and bounded out of the room and to the stairs, she looked at Bullet and frowned, then watched Image leaping up the stairs. "Image! You know your not supposed to be doing heavy activity with your leg! And Bullet, why are you encouraging him?" Lacey exhaled and tried to calm herself, then picked up Image and walked into the room to place him on the bed with his siblings. She trotted back to Bullet and pulled him over a little bit. "Look dear, I know you want to train him, but you also know his leg was hurt just yesterday, I don't want him doing those kind of things with that leg."
-Kalani-
Kalani yawned and yelped quietly when she didn't see her mom or dad around. But then she heard her mother yelling out the door. "Umm, Mocha, Mocha, wake up. I think mommy's mad. You hear her yelling?"
-Ghost-
Ghost nodded eagerly and did as his father told him, looking back one more time and smiling, he started running up and down the stairs, he didn't feel the least bit tired on the fourth lap, and ran up and down one more time. He stopped as he heard his mom shouting at Image, wow, he didn't even notice Image was there. Ghost whimpered a little, he had never heard his mom speak that loud.

Bullet smiled and put his ears down. He turned to his mate and tried to give a forgiving look. "Listen, he will never be a strong dog if he doesn't learn how to handle himself. He has to train but I let him go slower only because he is injured." He said and looked at his pup Ghost who was panting next to him.
-Mocha-
Mocha jumped up and fell on top of her sister. When she quickly got up she jumped off the bed and crept around he corner to see her mom yelling at her dad. "Uh Oh. They don't look so happy." Her ears went down and her tail went under her leg as she jumped back on the bed and looked at her sister.
-Image-
Image put his ears down but did something that would have never been expected. He barked back. "WELL MAYBE IF YOU WEREN'T SO PARENTAL THEN I COULD TRAIN LIKE A NORMAL DOG WOULD!" He said snarling at his mom and his ears pointed forward at an aggressive stance.

Lacey let out a long sigh as her ears went down, "I know." Looking down at Ghost, his little pink tongue barley hanging out his maw, she smiled warmly at him, one folded ear twitched as she heard one of her recently sleeping daughters speaking, a hint of worry in her voice. She padded back into the door of the room, spotting the little spots of brown over Mocha's eyes, a sight unmistakable to her, the pup was out of bed, an angry frown overpowered her smile. Her ears going back, Lacey quickly turned around to see Image angrily spouting rude words at her. With hearing that, she growled low and snatched him in her jaws, dropping him harshly, yet carefully in the room inside the small dark closet. Lacey closed it but left a medium sized crack inside, she stuck her head through it, "And you are to stay in here until you apologize for speaking so rudely to authority!" She slammed the closet shut, and put the large lock carefully through the holes in the handles. Then stomped downstairs to the next-door room and plopped onto the bed.
=Kalani=
Kalani crouched into a little furry ball, whimpering quietly, she never had heard her mother yell like that, she had always been so sweet and quiet. Her eyes shut tight when she heard her shout at Image, Kalani could understand why she was, but she still hated loud noises.
=Ghost=
Ghost looked back and forth at his parents, as his mom started to cool down, his little tail started wagging wildly, waiting for his father's approval, but before he got that, someone else started shouting. "Uh-oh. I don't think Image should have said that."He whispered to himself, and he soon realized he was right, just a split second after, his mother carried Image furiously to-he gasped-the time out area. He remembered when he went there once, when he had snuck into the freezer to get extra deer meat. Shuddering at the thought, he quietly followed his mom into the room, looking between her legs through the crack in the closet, and pulled his head back in surprise as it closed loudly, the lock placed on it to make it stay closed. He didn't want his brother to stay in that horrible place, so he decided he was going to get him out..Somehow. "Don't worry, Image, I'll get you out of there." He whispered, looking under the tiny crack underneath the closet.

Bullet smile at Lacey and licked her on the cheek he walked outside of the closet and barked a loud scolding bark before trotting back to Lacey and snuggling his head onto her stomach and smiled at her.
-Image-
Image whimpered and he was terrified. He hid in the corner of the closet and then felt power rise in him. "I AM GOING TO BE LEADER OF THIS PACK WHEN YOU DIE BULLET AND LACEY! RESPECT ME! Ghost get me out of here you idiot. I am furious. When I grow up you will be Beta of West Side and together we will rule!" He said snarling and putting his ears back.
-Mocha-
She whimpered and went to the closet too. She bit the lock and gnawed at it until it clicked. It broke partly but still needed to be pried with sharper teeth. She looked at Ghost and licked him on the cheek.

Lacey giggled at her mate and smiled, putting one paw on his, laying her head down. "I don't know dear, it seemed like just a minute ago when they were little puppies, whimpering and snuggling up to me for milk. I know it's part of their growing up, but I just don't want them to. I want them to stay little ones, who only sniffle and yip for words." She let out a tiny whimper as she remembered them as tiny hamster like adorable creatures, she still loved them all. Even Image, she knew he was special, but she didn't know he would act, and talk like this. She wanted her little tikes back. Hearing Image's nasty words, she shook her head, she laid it back under Bullet's head and on his paws. "Bullet? Do you think we could take one last trip?"
=Kalani=
Kalani lifted her head quickly as she heard a click, it was Mocha, trying to free her best friend and brother Image. She didn't want to get in trouble, but she didn't want to be left out on the big rescue and not get any credit. Looking at them all, she hopped off the bed and cantered to them, without thinking, she growled and took a couple steps back. Then sprinted toward the closet, jumping at just the right moment. Opening her jaws, she chomped down on the lock. She heard another click, as she fell back on the soft rug, quickly, she stood and looked up, the lock was finally open, but it wasn't out through the loop yet.
=Ghost=
Ghost smiled and lick his sister back, he took a quick step back as he saw Kalani run and unlock the lock. "Wow, good job Kalani." He chuckled, a smirk on his face, he knew he could have done way better if he had the chance, but he was still proud of her...A little. "Stand back yall." He whispered to himself, walking backwards, he stopped, and tried to do the same thing Kalani did. Luckily, it worked, as his body reached the lock, he growled and hung onto it with his arms, he bit the lock and gnawed it. Ghost suddenly fell...With the lock. "And that's. How it's done."

Bullet smiled and laid his head down on the couch. He thought of how nasty Image was and he felt bad for his mate. "Yes, my dear we shall." He grinned and got up. He trotted to where Image was put in time out and watched the other pups try to get him out. He barked a loud alarming bark and them and snarled. "I am disappointed in you children. Leave now!" He snarled and walked out of the room.
-Mocha-
Mocha laughed and pushed the closet doors open. "How bout we abandon our parents and go on a little adventure?" She said with a smirk on her face and her head poked out of the door. She wanted to hunt and find her own home.
-Image-
Image smirked and then cocked his head with a sad face. "Mom is already mad at me though. She scared my straight and I feel bad. You guys can go, not me." He said with his ears down and a frown coming apon his face.

Lacey followed happily as Bullet got up and walked back to the pups in the other room. She looked at them all, she was impressed of how they figured out how to open the lock so quickly, but she still was angry at them, her mate's bark frightened even her, she smiled at him and turned to the pups, with a disappointed face. "Yes, I'm not very happy with any of you, especially you Kalani, I didn't think you would get involved in all of this. And Image...." Her throat started tightening with sadness, she sighed and walked out of the room following Bullet. She wanted to get away, maybe all this staying cooped up in a large building was getting to her, as got to the door, she put her paw on Bullet's to stop him, she felt a little bad for them, she didn't want to leave without anyone watching, they could run away. "Bullet, should we call Mariah? The pups could leave if no one's looking after them. They are still pups at eight months, and they have minds of their own. They could run away, because of what I told them." Lacey looked down, she knew she shouldn't have snapped at them like that.
=Kalani=
Kalani whimpered as her mother mentioned her name in an angry tone. She ran underneath the bed crying, she really didn't want to upset any of her parents, as Mocha stated her suggestion of leaving home, Kalani scuttled even further into her big "cave". She didn't want to get anyone mad anymore, so she stayed where she was, it brought her relief to know that atleast her best friend was staying with her. Kalani smiled and crept out of the bed to run up to Image and nuzzle him in a thank you way.
=Ghost=
Ghost nodded violently as Mocha said those words, he adored the idea of not being barked at all the time, but it broke his heart to think about leaving his father, whom he had grown so attached to. But..He deserved it, for being so mean about things, he was just trying to help his brother. Yes, he was going to go with Mocha, it would be nice, he could pretend to be the alpha of her and lead. "What are you waiting for Mocha? Let's get outta here." He stomped over to her and gave her a nudge, then walked proudly to the top of the stairs and looked back.

Bullet howled for Mariah and walked down the stairs and motioned for Lacey to follow him.
-Mariah-
Mariah quickly ran down the stairs and knew what he meant. She hopped in the room and barked sweetly at the pups a hello.
-Image-
Image rolled his eyes at Mariah and yapped at his mom. He crawled with Kalani and said "It's okay. Mom doesn't know anything about me and you. I love you sis." He smiled and laid his head on her stomach with a soft smile.
-Mocha-
Mocha nodded and led herself out the door around Mariah who hadn't noticed. She nodded to Ghost and walked to the back stairs. She led herself downstairs and pushed the door open.

Lacey trotted over to him and stuck her head out, the sun blinded her for a moment, but as soon as her eyes adjusted, she smiled and started walking out.
=Kalani=
Kalani licked his ear and yawned, she was tired after all this yelling and fussing, but then she heard paws padding into the room. It was Mariah, she remembered her from a long time ago, the kind coyote that pup-sitted them when they were just newborns. Her tail wagged as she greeted them, but not soon after she started to fall asleep.
=Ghost=
Ghost smiled yet with a determined look on his face, he held his head high and cantered out the door, he couldn't wait to find out what the whole world was like. And he wanted to feel what it was like to be a leader, much better than being a dumb ol beta. He thought smirking, and he started to romp through the warm leaves. He stopped and looked around, feeling an odd sense of pride, and happiness he wasn't so kept, he was free to do anything he wanted now. Ghost leaped above a log, but, didn't fall back onto the soft leaves. Instead, his rear end in the air and his front paws batting the air as he was hung over the large log like a rag on a clothesline. "Mocha! Get me off of this thing!...Please." He didn't want to seem too rough a leader, especially to his favorite sister, even though he was the one who accused her for being so stuck up the most, but he still loved her.

Bullet walked past his mate and led her to other alleys. "Lets go hunting first. After that lets just wander around." He said while smiling at her. He licked her muzzle and said "What would you say about maybe having another litter of pups." He laughed and thought about his adorable pups and how they always loved to play and be little explorers.
-Mariah-
Mariah smiled and picked up Image and Kalani and set them in the bed. She laid her head down in front of them and then quickly looked around. "Wait, Ghost? Mocha? Come here! It is nap time." She said a little worried. She assumed that the parents knew where they were because she did not see them when she walked in and she laid her head down again.
-Image-
Image sniffled and barked at Mariah. "Um. Mommy and daddy didn't give them permission to leave. You have to find them..." He said with his stomach dropping and his head going onto the soft bed. He was a big dog now and he was only 8 months. A little smaller then his dad but just as bulky. He called them mommy and daddy still though because he still loved being a puppy.
-Mocha-
Mocha tackled her brother off of the log like thing and laughed. She walked forward even more before saying "Come on lazy pants....." She chuckled and ran into the street, dodging cars, jumping over trash cans. She found a rat and she decided to hunt it. She was starving.

Lacey smiled gratefully and rubbed up against her mate's strong and sturdy body, the thought of more pups did slightly please her, but she still wasn't sure. They still had pups, who were-Wow. Eight months old. How fast the year had flown, and how fine and big the puppies had grown. They would soon have to leave the safety and love of the home they once knew if they decided to go start a pack of their own. Shaking the thoughts away, she looked at the more rural area before them. The beginning of a forest lay before them, "Hmm, tempting love, tempting. But I'm afraid I'll have to think about that one." She walked past him again, her tail rubbing underneath Bullet's chin, as she did when they first met.
=Kalani=
Kalani's closing eyes quickly opened again as she felt a movement to her side, noticing Mariah's muzzle, she cuddled closer to her head for more warmth. It was a bad idea, now mentioning Mocha and Ghost being gone, she remembered, at first when they spoke about running away, she thought they were kinda joking around, and would come back in a few minutes or so. Now she was beginning to feel worried about them herself. She pawed at Image's shoulder. "Image, do you think we should search for them?"
=Ghost=
Ghost growled behind Mocha's back as she started to go off. He followed closely, copying his sisters moves, she was quite agile, and he felt proud of her. He watched as Mocha began to hunt it down, he didn't feel like eating something so...Well...Small. He was used to the big meals prepared for him every day. He shook his head, trying to push away the happy memories. So he just kept watching her, taking a good seat ontop of a tall trash can. "If you want my opinion, you should waste your time on that little scrap. I'm gonna go find something worth eatin." He decided while he spoke, then hopping off the can and putting his snout to the ground and wandered slowly out of the alley, heading for the nearby bunch of trees.

Bullet shrugged and thought more pups was okay. He loved whatever his mate loved. "I don't care. I'll do whatever you want, m'love." He smiled and licked her cheek. "We will have to think of that together." He said. For some random reason he felt weird from leaving his kids with Mariah. He trusted her but his pups were the little kid "evil". He smirked about the topic of his pups and walked on with his mate. This evening he was going to take her somewhere beautiful and hunt a perfect meal.

Image rolled over to Kalani and shrugged. "No! Mommy and daddy will find them, although I am getting sort of worried." He smiled and tried to get up but fell back down and closed his eyes. He was so tired right now and couldn't even lift his small head from the pillow he was on.
-Mocha-
Mocha perked her ears up and snarled. She ran after her brother and tackled him. She had her small paws on his shoulders and she said "Listen, dork! You can't even hunt a rabbit if it was a baby so why don't you lay of being a so called alpha and settle down at Beta. Let me handle this small boy." She laughed and jumped off of him and trotted in front of him.

Lacey nodded and looked around as she walked and held her head high, proud she had a responsible, strong, handsome, and loving mate. Yet, she started to worry if Mariah could handle the wild pups, she had a strange urge to go back and see them. No, don't go back, Mariah has them under control. After all, today is strictly a day to be with Bullet, no exceptions She shook her head off and turned to him as she walked. "So, where's it going to be?" She asked curiously, poking his ear lovingly.
=Kalani=
Kalani smiled lazily and yawned, she stood up and stretched, her paw reached out to pet Image's head and she hopped off the bed. "Mariah, I'm hungry."
=Ghost=
Ghost growled and got up, he walked off into the forest and started searching. He got lucky, as he found a rabbit hole, left unguarded with babies inside it. He smiled and snatched them to go underneath a large rock that he found suitable for a den and started eating. He howled for Mocha to come over too.

Bullet laughed at Lacey and walked on. The next city over, my dear. We can hunt, swim and flirt..." He laughed and ran ahead of her for fun.
-Mariah-
She looked at the two pups and nodded. She went over to the freezer and grabbed out some food and laid it down in front of the pups to eat. She smiled at them and let them come off the bed on there own.
-Image-
Image yipped and said Yay I'm hungry too! He laughed joyfully and ran over to the food, gnawing at the hide first and then getting to the delicious, meaty meat that was inside. He felt it was just waiting for him to eat the delicious Deer.
-Mocha-
Mocha snarled and howled pack Ha too bad. Your on your own. This is where you and me split up!" She laughed and darted off into the other direction in a swift turn. She had no idea this was going to take her into the pack of a predator.

Lacey smirked and dashed forward ahead of him, her tongue starting to fall out of her open maw as she ran, making a sharp turn by a building, she almost fell over, but quickly steadied herself. She looked around for Bullet and started running again, she loved running, it reminded her of her herding days, she stopped running to think about it. Suddenly she had a perfect idea. She sprinted back to the corner to find her mate. Once she saw him she ran up to him and licked his muzzle. "Bullet! I had this idea. I was just wondering if you wanted to go somewhere."
=Kalani=
Kalani smiled at Image's laughter and giggled as she started to tear the tendons and play around with them. They were like long strings, she rolled over on her back and batted them with her paws laughing.
=Ghost=
Ghost rolled his eyes and continued eating, "Yeesh, I was only askin if she wanted to eat with me. Oh well, her loss." He smiled pridefully and finished his meal. He stood up and walked in three circles before plopping back down to take a nap.
