no one can lead you off your path A cool breeze sent the scent of salt deep within her navel cavity. It was such a beautiful smell, a smell she sought after during the twilight. Soon all light from today would be washed away by the blackish purple hues from the night just as the days paw-prints were washed away by the returning tide. A beautifully painted picture for all to enjoy and yet so far the young spotted female was the only one there to enjoy it.
Stretching, she let out a soft yawn as she dug her toes into the wet sand. Her lips curled back into a smile as the sea rose up and tried to steal the ground from beneath her, causing her paws to sink deeper into the silt. Soft brown eyes searched the waters for any signs of large life, she always admired the way the large fish swam through the water; the way they jumped through the water always made her hold her breath, waiting for them to take flight (though sadly they always seemed to return back into the deep blue sea).
Letting out a quiet bark she wagged her tail, allowing the water to rise above her stationary paws one last time before walking along the shoreline. It was a warm night and the water was only slightly colder than the air, making for perfect swimming conditions. Sadly, she wasn't the best of swimmers but that didn't keep her from enjoying the beach. Raising her head high she scented the air, a failed attempt at sniffing out a nearby canine.

Champ walked into the bright sun rays out of the shade of a tree. His fur was shining in the light and his eyes were gleaming. He saw a female Dalmation and he smiled. "Hello." He walked up to her and he was going to approach sweetly. The sand between his toes felt like a massage. He smiled at her and looked at the waves that crashed on he shore. It was a windy day but with the sun hitting the beach it was hot air that hit him. His orange and white coat soaked in he sun. He sat down and looked turned from the water to her again. He was as tall as her but she had a beautiful spotted white coat with floppy black and white ears. He had an orange and white coat with pointy ears and charming brown eyes that seemed hypnotizing. She was a tall slim figure and he was a tall bulky figure.
