ANGEL Angel walked into a big meadow. She felt sort of safe in the meadow. The green grass and open fields gave off a calming feeling, and it soothed her.It felt good not to be all stressed, and Angel hadn't felt this way in a while now.She had no pack, and no protection. She knew better than to wander around like she has been and so she was looking for a pack to join. She had never really been taught to fight, hunt or do anything like that. She didn't know how to lead a pack, or take care of pups, so she didn't know what part she would play. All she knew for sure is she needed to find a pack that could help her live. Angel wandered around the meadow. She could smell faintly other dogs in the meadow, and that concerned her, but she didn't want to leave this beautiful place quite yet. I just need somthing to eat.Angel told herself. She searched all around the meadow and didn't find anything. She saw lots of birds, but didn't know how to hunt and kill so they got away. Angel tracked down another dogs scraps. They smelled freash, and she assumed that they had hid it to go back to the kill later.Angel was afriad of other dogs, but she did it anyways. She was getting skinny by the day, and you could just start to see her bones. She had been feeding off some scraps that she had found, and been able to get into at abonded houses, but that didn't help all that much. Angel dug, ripping up the green grass with her paws. She was very suprised, and happy to find what looked to be a very unlucky deer. She smelled the deer.Somone had killed it and ate some, but there was still lots of meat left for her.She quickly lifted the deer out of the ground and layed it on top of the grass.Angel ripped open the deers cheast, devouring the dead animal as fast as she could. Angel was so content with eating her prey that she never heard a wolf come up behind her. When she finnaly did, Angel didn't have enough time to run or leave the site. She was stuck with the dog who she assumed came back for it's deer.

Genocide was a well known deer killer, and that had only slightly increased with the pups. Two darlings were hidden away safely in a den, and Genocide intended to keep them that way. It was simply unfortunate that her scent carried the smell of puppies with her when she went to greet outsiders. With the aggression only maternal love could instill, she strode in on what appeared to her to be an interloper eating her children's food, tail high, lips curled in a snarl. This dog could be here to kill her children, she thought irrationally and territorially, charging forward and aiming a snap at-- wait, were those ribs? It was a little harder to despise and irrationally hate a starving individual, one who could honestly pose no real threat, and Genocide stopped in her tracks.
"What are you doing here?" she snarled, tail held rigidly and hackles on end. There better be an apology coming with all this.

Angel turned to look at the other dog. There was no way she could fight this dog, and no way to out run it.Angel assumed that this female was the alpha female, and that this was her territory.
"I'm sorry!" Angel cried. She looked down, not meeting the wolf's eyes and waiting for the wolf to kill her.She wouldn't fight back. She knew that it was better to die quickly than to suffer trying to fight back.
Angel cried again, "i'm sorry."Angel turned on her hind feet in the oppisite direction and ran.She ran as fast and as hard as she could. Her strieds were long as she tried to run from the female.

"That's not good enough! You break the rules, you pay the consequences!" Well, it was an apology, but not quite the explanation she'd been expecting. For her, the fleeing only cemented her belief in the other's guilt. With glee she leaped over the carcass and sped after Angel, aiming to trip the dog with her jaws at the other's feet. This dog was in her territory, and Genocide would claim her as one of the pack. Such a submissive seeming dog, she figured, would be easy to cow into working for her pack and helping feed and care for her pups. Genocide badly needed a babysitter, though she knew she'd have to be especially threatening to ensure the dog didn't get any bright ideas about murdering them if she got the chance while alone.
It wouldn't take long for her to catch up with this dog. If nothing else, she could try to out-endure her in a chase. This breaker of law had to be punished, and serve their sentence. Genocide hated it when barbarians like her held no regard for the rules and traditions of the wolves.

Angel ran as hard as she could, but she knew it wouldn't be for long.Slowly she started to slow down. She coudn't run any longer.
Angel flopped to the ground. She knew she was going to be killed at that was the pay for stealing that deer. She knew in her soul she shouldn't have done that, but her brain told her to.It was to hungry. She waited for the blow, but she didn't feel anything.Am I in heaven she asked herself?

Genocide didn't take the killing blow, instead just keeping the dog pinned after she tripped her. "Why did you steal the meat?" she demanded. Well, hunger, obviously, but why did she steal from them? Genocide considered it a personal offense. Weren't there dog packs this one could join and get fed by? Disgusting. They didn't even care for their own. "No matter. As consequence for trespassing, and for stealing meat that rightfully belongs to our pups, I take you as prisoner of Northern Ridge Pack, as is my ancient right of Alpha-hood." she growled, intoning the words like a rite. Genocide was very traditional, but truth was most alphas didn't bother to say the whole thing or at all. "You will work off your sentence by working as and for pack."
And don't dare think about running again, little dog. Perhaps if she behaved well, she could be let off eventually for good behavior, but... this was one slave who wasn't leaving any time soon if Genocide had anything to say about it. Dogs really needed to learn how to be civilized, and she wasn't sure if a dog could even be trusted to keep anything in their thick heads.

Angel whimpered. She hated the thought of working for another pack.It sounded hard. What did I do to ever deserve this God! she screamed at herself."I...was so...hungry" Angel stammered."I was just crossing over your land, and I smelled the deer." she told the other wolf. She thought about trying to bite the wolf, but she knew that would go bad.
Angel started to cry.Her sides heaved as she whimpered. Her sadness and fear quickly turned to anger. She was not going to let this wolf see her break down.Angel leaned forward and bit the wolves leg as hard as she could. In a split seconed Angel was up and was trying to run, but her legs did not move. She was to tired.

Stupid sniveling dog. Well, as Genocide said, she'd pay the price for not being able to resist temptation now. Genocide didn't give a damn if it was hard. The alpha worked her tail off every day for this pack, it was time this freeloader learned what that was like so she'd never steal a free lunch ever again. "Just peachy. Next time, you'll work for your meals, but at least you won't be hungry." the wolf uttered scathingly. "What is your name? Or shall I just call you dog?" Genocide demanded, though calling her dog or slave would suit the wolf just fine. She just preferred knowing what her foes or even prisoners called themselves.
Then Angel made the mistake of biting her. Genocide roared in anger, not responding by loosening her pin but by digging in deeper, and biting back, down hard. And a wolf's bite was quite a bit nastier than your average dog's, such was scientific fact. It was certain to draw lots of blood.
"Don't. do. that. ever. again." Only warning she'd ever get. Next time, Genocide would go for the kill.

"Angel" Angel told the wolf. She shuddered as she thought what this wolf would do with her.She had heard about dogs who had broken into claimed land before. They were normally kept as slaves to do chores and stuff for the pack.Angel wasn't growing to fond of this alpha. She prayed to god that she would release Angel.
The wolf bit Angel after she bit the alpha.A drip of warm, red blood ran down Angel's front leg.The bite was hard and it hurt too!Angel cried out once before she became silent again. The wolf told her that was the only warning she would get.She struggled and squirmed under the other wolves paws.Angel gave up.She layed still waiting for somthing to happen.
