this city needs some excitement. something to spiff it up a bit. to strike fear into the hearts of its citizens. i present you with Blood Bound, a gang of canines united by a love of bloodshed and violence, and harboring a will to dominate the city.
to start off i will tell you that this gang will be completely IN CHARACTER. which means you cannot post here and expect to be accepted into the ranks. this also means that being a part of the gang will be TIME CONSUMING, as it requires lots of posting. next i will tell you that this thread is what's known as an evolving thread. this means that, as the plot is played out IC, this thread will be updated with new information. even though i will make a post here telling when i have updated it, you will want to check back often to see if something has changed. new/changed information will be highlighted in maroon.
Blood Bound is going to be a tight-knit group of dogs who all enjoy fighting and violence, led by my dire wolf, Lamia. their ultimate goal is domination over the city, whether it be by decimating the other packs or forcing them into submission. they will evolve unique rituals, one of them being the Sunset Gathering, among many others. however, i feel it is important to state that the rituals the group develops are heavily influenced by its members. so if your character thinks they should take one day out of the week to scour the city in search of llamas, and Lamia, the leader, approves, then it so it shall be. i want this group to be built by its members.
the ranks are a very important part of the gang. for now, since they will be simply a roaming gang and have no set home, the ranks will be what is called the ladder. this means that all new members start out at the lowest rung of the ladder, and the leader sits at the top. the higher rung you sit on, the more respect you earn from your fellow canines. since Lamia is a wolf that is focused on fighting, the gang will be as well. to gain a rung on the ladder you must win a fight at a Sunset Gathering. this will be explained in more detail later on.
IMPORTANT. this gang will be created IN CHARACTER. which means i will need a few characters who are willing to help found it. Lamia will meet with each one, befriend them, and then bring them all together to suggest the gang and set forth a few beginning rituals. as of right now, i need two to three characters that are willing to do so. you can post here with your interest and perhaps a plot as to how they meet, or you can simply link an open thread, whichever you prefer.

Fallen would be a good first member, but he wouldn't be much good at charisma. He could be one of those trust fighters that gets hings done no matter what she orders. He'll also be very loyal.

Yeah it was in the surreal forest called Shadows or something like that. She was going to help him control his "rage" he goes into when he blacks out.

I have a few characters who aren't really being used much. One of which, Nameless, I'm probably going to kill off since his pack doesn't even exist. (I'd originally aimed to get four dogs into all four packs. yeaahhhh.) I could try throwing him your way and you have permission to autokill him if he doesn't work out.
Next, there is Paranoid. I don't know if you'd want him, because he'd actually be a spy for another pack at least initially unless by some mysterious process you got past his paranoia, but he'd definitely 'join' quote quote if allowed to.

having Nameless meet Lamia would be amazing. i'm not sure of his personality but, as you said, if he doesn't mesh she could kill him. which would lend her more credibility as the murderous vampire she is.
as for Paranoid... i can definitely see some plottage going on. if he could convince her he had the right stuff to join the gang he could continue with his spy activities. however, i think it would be delightful if Lamia found out that he was a spy. allow me to elaborate.
Paranoid manages to join the gang, and regularly reports back to his true pack with information as to the intentions of Blood Bound. at first Lamia is blissfully unaware, and treats him just as another family member. after a little while Paranoid begins to sink in to Blood Bound, becoming more and more comfortable. one day he decides to 'turn in his badge,' so to speak, and goes to tell his true pack he no longer wants to be a part of them. as he sneaks away, Lamia catches him. immediately she cries traitor and sets upon him punishing fangs. Paranoid dodges and defends, trying to get in a word edgewise. finally he realizes the only thing he can do is fully submit himself in the hopes it will bring stop her long enough for him to speak. so, fighting with every instinct and fiber of his being, he rolls over and exposes his stomach. the gesture confounds Lamia, and she stands over him, thunderstruck. he then explains that he had been a spy for another pack, but that he had since come to love Blood Bound and no longer wanted to betray what he considers his true pack. Lamia then realizes that she could use this her advantage, and offers him a chance to redeem himself by spying on the other pack. he would feed them false information, and gather information about them and report back to Lamia. whether he accepts or not is up to you. if he chooses not to (assuming we've gone down this route and gotten this far), then she'll simply come up with another task so that he can redeem himself and become more a part of Blood Bound.

Celestail should be his buddy and they should be little gang of meanies. They should be mean either way to any other dogs and maybe Celestail could act on top of the other dogs.

That would be awesome for Paranoid. I was actually thinking something just like that, no fun if he's never discovered ever after all. He's a bit amoral and messed up, so making him squirm over the idea of betraying people he's begun to become fond of would be quite amusing. I think the group would appeal to his hidden loneliness underneath his paranoia, but he'd only 'truly' come to trust his leader after the big reveal, probably being utterly shocked she doesn't still kill him after revealing such a weakness as affection and showing himself to be such a dangerous threat (spying). I think it has a lot of character development potential.
Nameless never really got any threads so he never got his personality fleshed out much. He's your average submissive and naive individual, though, doesn't even know dogs are supposed to have names so he should be easy to mentally mess with. If he doesn't work out, maybe heck one of Paranoid's first tasks to show he's loyal and useful could be to kill him. Or the whole ruthless leader huzzah as you said, she kills Nameless in front of him and makes Paranoid extremely aware of what a fine line he's treading with the spying from the very beginning. Food for thought.
Guess should start a thread, see how it goes? Or two threads?

yes we should have a thread :3 Lamia could meet Paranoid and explain her idea of creating a pack and all that junk, and then he'd be like '-shifty eyes- i want in.' and then go from there. i figure it will take multiple threads to fully develop the plot, so i'm not worried about getting it all done right away :3
as for Nameless, we should have a thread for them to meet as well. he can't very well become part of the gang without having met her, eh? xD
i am quite busy with real life at the moment, so if you could start one or both of them, that would be awesome. however, when i get home later tonight and tomorrow after about 4pm i should be able to get caught up on threads, etc. and you can wait until then.
