Mariah looked at him. "Wow, guess it was a good life. Me and my family hunted but we didn't like to fight. That's how I learned to be nicer and try to avoid fights. I hate getting into unwanted fuss. I wanna be liked and a friend of many." She said itching her ear then shaking her head off. She used her paw to flatten her hair out and she let out a howl. "Sorry, force of habit." She did a little giggle and turned to him once again. The light showed the front of Paranoid. "And, i'm a coyote so I don't need humans. We hunt, hunt, hunt all day long. She said moving her head from side to side. The creaky floorboards creaked as she moved around. Her ears perked up.

The howl was a little annoying, but he did his best to ignore it. Yes, just alert all their enemies to their location, great, terrific. He glanced suspiciously at the window, but supposed it would take quite awhile for any enemies to arrive after hearing.
Pondering all that she said, he'd guessed it had been a good life. An easy life. Now he'd have to work for his supper, for real. "So was that what you were out here doing? Hunting? Doesn't seem very fruitful..." There were almost no lifeforms besides them in the building. "Could you teach me to hunt, perhaps?" he asked.

She smirked and said "Of course! And I was hunting and wandering." She said looking down. He seemed like the annoyed type or the easily affected type. She walked to the whole in which she came in by and slipped out with her slim, swift figure. She hopped out. She narrowed her eyes and looked around to try to catch a scent. "You have to have a good eye and a good nose. If your Coyote then you should know." She raised an eyebrow and looked at him. The she walked down a street and said "Be swift and pounce one when your close enough to kill it instantly. Or almost instantly." She said looking back at him and kept walking. She looked forward again and quickly caught a scent. "Follow me." She said. She trotted down a street, through and alleyway and to a bridge where she saw 2 rats. "You catch one. I'll catch the other." She winked at him and swiftly crept up to one. She had to wait so she didn't alarm the other one.
