Genesis is a literate canine role-playing site. We are brand new. We dont have a word count, but we would like 150+words per IC post. We do allow wolves, foxes, coyotes, jackals etc. We are rated PG-13 which means we do not allow graphic breeding or any type of the sort. We hope you like what you see and decide to join us! The Staff
Plot!
When the government launched a new test weapon, people were happy as it was going to end the nuclear war era. But, things took a turn for the worst almost immediately. Humans began getting sick and dying off. Chaos broke out. The canines have come out as immune to it and now rule the small town of Genesis Maine. The government turned around and classified Genesis as a 'non existant' town and basically denies it's existance. What really went on? why was the weapon really launched?

Hawthorne's paws pressed into the ground, eyes casually sweeping the area, looking for Bullet. It'd been a few weeks now- and he'd watched the pack with great patience, and for the most part he liked the looks of the place. Hawthorne closed his duo toned eyes, a slow breath filtering in through his lungs. Would this finally be what he called home? Could he manage to settle down in one place? He wasn't sure, but he'd sure as hell try. Especially with winter threatening to wipe him out if he faced it alone.
Relentless searching did him no good, still he had not seen hide nor hair of that blasted Doberman! Damn it! This slightly frustrated the normally good natured white husky. With a frustrated sigh he curled up and crumpled to the ground. Maybe he could get a nap in before their encounter? He'd surely be able to find him later- if he didn't stumble upon Hawthorne anyways. Tucking his head under his tail he yawned. "I can just find him when I wake up, it's no big deal." The words seemed to put his mind somewhat at ease with the small promise of finding Bullet.

[size=4] Bullet smelt a dog. It smelt like an outsider with some of West Side scent on it. There is only one dog Bullet knew of the smelt like that...Hawthorne! Bullet sprinted out of his hotel and around the back to the front of Hawthorne and wagged his black tail. "Don't fall asleep on me, brother! What's up?! Its been like 500 days since i've seen you, bro!" Bullet laughed and nudged Hawthorne on his side.
Man, that husky is Bullet's awesomest fried ever! Bullet smiled and his black and brown fur bristled in the cold wind. Bullet was getting cold and tired, actually and he was going to take his young dog in. "Wanna come in, Hawthorne? It's awful cold and I ain't gonna stand any longer for this bullshit." He laughed and walked him inside the warehouse.

Hawthorne was ripped away from the heavy blanket of sleep, coming to- but not without feeling somewhat dazed and confused about what was going on at first. The voice was fading in and out of his ears, ringing a very familiar tone. Oh where did he hear this voice? Who could it be.. slowly, he crept more and more into reality A smile placed against he handsome face. Ah, yes it was Bullet..wait. Bullet! "Yea, it's been a minute." he'd tease in that sour humor that only Bullet seemed to understand. "Me, ah well. I've been looking for you! But what about you Alpha of west side, how have you been?" He chuckled the words leaving his tongue in a mock authoritative voice- playful none the less.
"Sure, sure. We can go inside hotshot." A knowing smile crossed the coal lips of the brutes face. Bullet was at best, the coolest friend he had- and the only one so far in his life that he wanted to keep around. Standing up, Hawthorne follows after Bullet.

Bullet laughed and playfully romped Hawthorne. "That's my sarcastic little stray lover boy." He laughed and led him into the Warehouse like usual and let him sit on a box with a warm fuzzy blanket on it. Bullet laid on his and smiled at Hawthorne. "So, Hawthorne how have you been? Even though I know your tired and lazy." Bullet chuckled and sat up straight.
Bullet knew Hawthorne and Hawthorne knew Bullet very well....Bullet loved him so much, as a buddy that he as an alpha would do anything for him to keep him happy. Bullet always dreamt of having a dog who really understood him and knew what he liked and wanted for his pack and himself. It was a normal thing for an alpha to pick favorites in their pack.
A draft set through the Warehouse making it somewhat cold. It wasn't shivering weather though. It was dark, Bullet had not yet turn on the lights so there was only night light coming in through the stained glass windows that were filthy and long and ran down the building. Bullet walked over to the light panel and switched it on.
Much better......Bullet thought and he trotted up to Hawthorne's box and leaped on the one next to it.

Hawthorne brushed his shoulder into Bullet, returning the playful act with a short laugh. "Well, I do have an image to uphold." He'd counter in that same sarcastic tone. Once he was inside the warehouse he casually glanced around, inspecting the place. It was much warmer than the air outside at least, a bit on the stuffy side but nice never the less. "Nice place ya got here Bullet." he'd murmur, licking his lips before hopping onto one of the crates.
Now, Hawthorne wasn't one to pick favorites and he wasn't gay. Heavens no! The thought alone made his stomach churn with Nashua. He had no problem with others who were but him.. no. No way in hell. But, Bullet- if he were to pick favorites out of anyone he'd known over the years Bullet would defiantly be it. "Ah, aren't I always. But, I've been fine. Other then wearing myself out hunting you down! " He'd chuckle leaning on his side, his eyes following the doberman around the room. "So, I've been thinking." He'd start off, shifting his weight to better face Bullet. "And I want to join your pack."

Bullet nodded and smiled. He was used to this place now and actually quite loved it. It was so nice and the musty and outside smell mixed together smelt comforting and nice to him. It was somewhat dark at night but yet the outside "light" streaked through. He didn't usually sleep in here though because he had to hang out with his 2 remaining pups that haven't moved on, Image and Mocha.
Bullet looked back at Hawthorne who complimented his place and he said "Ah, yes! I have grown attached to this place over the years. After all it is my territory." He laughed and looked around once more before he stopped. Bullet's ears stood straight up and the next lines. Bullet slowly turned to Hawthorne and a grin took over his long black face. " Really?!? Wow. And I knew you sorry little dog would come running to my pack." He chuckled and walked around the dog. "What position?"

His mind seemed to fuzz over for a few moments, eyes somewhere farther off. Lost in his thoughts. Slowly however, he came back turning to Bullet with a wicked laugh of his own climbing out. "Sorry? Ha! Don't make me laugh Bullet." He sat up, shifting his weight, watching the male move about. It seemed as though he just couldn't hold still could he?
"I don't know, how about your second in command?" The question left his lips without hesitation, he knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to ask- but even if he got shot down there were always backups. "I mean, we do after all get along so well." he'd chuckle softly. He hopped off the box, wondering around the wear house a bit- exploring it. "so.." he paused looking back at Bullet. "Want to show me around the rest of the territory?"

Bullet raised an eyebrow and grinned as Hawthorne laughed. Bullet's black fur was pitch black and he looked smaller only because his brown was showing and it was at the bottom part of his body. Bullet liked having a mysterious look and he looked like a big shadow walking by. Every dogs nightmare. "Ha, I already made you laugh, Lover Boy!" He laughed and trotted around Hawthorne, chuckling.
Bullet looked down at Hawthorne and shrugged. "Well that spot is taken by my fellow dog Paranoid but.....I don't think there can be 2 boys on the job for that so....You can pick anything else." He cleared his throat did a half a smile to try to make Hawthorne feel good about himself. He didn't know why he had Paranoid as Second in command anyways because he trusted him, yes. but he was a little bit shady and not as trustworthy.
Bullet nodded sweetly and led hi out of the Warehouse to the hotel. [color=blue" Okay so this is the hotel and this is the dog residence. My pups live in here and so do all of my other trusty pack members. If there is a prisoner they sleep in the cold basement inside a cage until we trust them. If not we attack them until they get straight. I will assign you a room as well though." [/color] Bullet pushed the door open and led him downstairs to the cold room that was dark that has cement. It was dark and musty and filled with cobwebs.
It had 5 cages in a row that had no food and were very strong. They held in many dogs and at least 2 dogs could fit into 1 small cage. That was abuse but it was fine because they weren't trustworthy. He led him back upstairs where there were very nice rooms. There were small apartments, big apartments, pent houses and finally the middle class houses. They were all very nice though and the view on either sides were beautiful.

Hawthorne nodded his head. "Well then why don't you surprise me Bullet?" He really wasn't quite sure what he wanted. "Because, I tell ya what I don't have the slightest clue where a fella like me would fit in." His tone was casual dabbing with a certain playful tone he only used around his newly dubbed best-friend, and even though he didn't know much about Bullet- he knew well enough he could trust the big black and tan canine.
His eyes glanced around the dark rooms of the cages, he'd hate to be in the shoes of who ever got put in there. It was so dark and musty down here. It made Hawthorne's skin crawl with unease. "It's a very lovely place Bullet." It was pretty high standard, he liked that, it gave the place class. Something he found a lot of places lacked.

Damon groaned as he padded away from the pack's camp ground, terribly lost and bored. His mind was lost actually, he wasn't lost at all. Damon had gone mad. Mad. Haha! Like the Mad Hatter; only Damon wasn't a hatter. No, Damon was a beautiful, agile, strong worthy German Shepherd straight from Germany's finest. Naw, Damon could do better than that. Suddenly an unfamiliar smell lurked into the air, catching Damon's interest right away. He stood alert and growled, hair standing up and lip curled, intruders were not welcomed here... Not one bit. Then again, Bullet had been okay with letting that jerk wolf join... Ugh. Bullet.
I mean, Damon enjoyed Bullet's company and all, but sometimes, he didn't agree with everything he had to say. If it were up to him, he wouldn't let anyone come near his pups, mate or pack unless proven himself worthy. Or her. Tempest was definately a twisting experience for Damon and Bullet. Damon knew there was something wrong with that bitch from the beginning, and he didn't like it. As Damon approached the scent, he jerked up. "Bulet?" he growled under his breath.

Bullet took a deep breath and turned to who he knew was Damon. "Damon! Meet the newest pack member, Hawthorne." He smiled. Sometimes Damon was too non risky and did not take any chances which sometimes led other dogs away from the pack. Bullet cleared his throat and raised both of his eyebrows at Damon who was just standing there.
