"And you ask yourself...."
The large German shepherd was glad he was able to take a break from his job. Bullet had finally agreed to let him go off and relax for a weekend. Thanks, now it was back to Damon's regular life. He was like a teenager, sly and cute, and easily slip right out from your grasp. That's probably why Bullet kept a good hand on him. Damon pricked his ears to the sound if the waves crashing against the sandy beach line, the salt water smell tingled in his nose, rushing the adrenalin, he could feel shivers going down his spine. Life was good... For about 10 seconds. Damon let it all in, the sunset, waves, sounds,..... And then there were people.
If he liked it or not, humans were still up and running the planet. He groaned and rolled his eyes as he saw two young adults walking his way, holding hands and laughing. Humans. As they passed the shepherd, he gave a deep bark, showing his teeth and telling them to stay away. They turned around surprised and fear showed in their eyes, quickly they walked away. Smart move. Damon sighed as he walked the other way, paws slowly sinking into the sand. Ahh. This was the life.

SOTERIA Her paws made very little noise on the beach, the stink of salt air stinging her nose. It had been a long time since she'd even ventured to the sandy place, as she didn't really enjoy getting all the particles of sand out of her thick fur. A low grumble rumbled through her lips, her feet sinking into the sand and thus making her trot even more difficult. The tri colored Aussie was on a mission, as per usual, looking for more evidence to support her research on the Toy Soldier virus. If she could harness its power then she never had to be hurt again!
The female bystepped the pair of humans drawing near, sea water rushing around her feet as a wave came in. She gave a little growl at its temperature, but better than being approached by humans! Soteria looked very much like a domesticated animal, and she had been at one time...but now she was practicaly feral. Brown gaze flickered up, paw still moving her along the damp sand as she came upon a larger canine. Her head lowered, muscles bunching under her thick coat and if her tail hadn't been docked she would have tucked it. Her gaze flickered nervously between the male and her path, as she tried to simply walk by without any social interaction. |

"And you ask yourself..."
Damon let the cool breeze wash through his layered fur, the sand getting tangled in his paws was annoying him. But what really got to him, was the fact that the cool tempeture was raising by the moment. Damon had had it with this stupid earth. He wished he could find that 'Toy Soldier' product, giving him powers and all. But Damon was too laid back for that. Kind of go with the flo, type of guy. Just chill. He sighed.
Damon's attention was quickly drawn away from the mindless thoughts and tempetures and quickly reevaluated the situation. The canine that was submissively approaching him was a female, Aussie, and small. Female. His favorite. Damon put on his flirty smile, his muscles rippling with excitement. As he neared the female, he could tell that she was hoping to get along without socializing, but boy has she got this big shepherd wrong. Damon slightly stepped infront if the female, blocking her way out of his trap. "What's a pretty lookin' fae doin' out here all alone, eh? Your boyfriend dump you already?" he laid back his ears and slightly tilted his head, looking innocent and cute.

Damn.
Soteria glanced at the other canine for a brief second, noting his smile as well as his forward motion...toward her. She inwardly sighed, freezing in place as he stepped out to block her path. His words reached her ears, one of them up and the other down as she shook her head. "Just passing through is all." She muttered, a scowl spreading across her muzzle. The German Shepherd was obviously trying to push some buttons on her, giving her that 'i'm such a catch' look that she lifted her head even though her insides were quivering. She took a step forward, crown lifting to its normal height.
"You make a habit out of stopping women in their tracks?" She said, before quickly shutting her mouth. Had she just...inadvertently tried to flirt? She could positively roll over and die...right here...right now. Eyes lowered to the sand as she moved to his right, obviously wanting to by pass. "Now, brute, if you'd just let me get by you then I'll be on my way." The tri colored female was just within touching distance as she kept her eyes forward, all business.

Damon shrugged. " Hm.... That's depends. So. Enough chat. Where are you going in such a hurry? Your on a mission... to do what.... Was the question. He snorted. She wasnt going anywhere. Just yet. He watched her carefully, narrowing his eyes to get a better perspective. She was making it so boring. He yawned, watching her eagerly. Maybe she could do somethin that would be I interesting.

ANGEL Angel had been out on the streets alone for a few days now.She was stressed and dearly missed her human companians.So, she decided to head over to the beach that some dogs were talking about.She always found the waves and sand soothing to her. Angel santered along the edge of the water.The beach was calm as far as she could see.Two humans walked along the water hand in hand, and seeing them just made Angel want her humans even more.She knew better than to go to them so Angel continued on her way. The waters salt burned her eyes and nose, and the wet sand felt weird under her paws.Angel stopped and turned towards the water.She slowly took a few steps into the water before she dived into it playing and jumping around.She let the waves lick her fur as she lapped at the water, which she soon found out was a mistake.The water tasted horrible! Angel ran out of the water, and started on her way once again.She was soaking wet and was starting to get cold, but she kept on at it.She walked down the water and heard to dogs a little ahead. Just ignore them and keep walking!Angel commanded herself.She heard a male and a female dogs voice.It didn't sound like a warm meeting etheir.Angel picked up a faster paced walk and was a few feet away from the two.She looked down, but made sure to keep a visual on the pair incase one tried to come at her. Angel almost jumped when she thought one of the dogs talked to her.She stopped and respect fully looked at the two dogs.She froze in fear.She was never taught to defend herself.She wouldn't know how to take on thoose two dogs if they tried to fight with her. |

The dark figure watched the smaller canine approach them, fear stricken. His ears perked and tail tightly curled as he observed the fae. She made things quite interesting. He was really waiting for the aussie's responce to the new visitor. Her face expression seemed to be fiecerly envolved in her little mission, making the shepherd even more curious. Her lightly colored pelt glittered, he was quite interested by tye fact that two fae's had approahed the brute at the same time... Quite fasinating.
He yawned, his black coat weighing him down from being hyper. The sunlight was brutal to a coat like his, he felt like he was carrying around 100 pounds of just pure fluff. Dang was he hot.
